Viraj Sawhney is a Managing Director at Warburg Pincus India Pvt. Ltd. He is based in Mumbai and joined Warburg Pincus in 2005.  He evaluates opportunities in business services sectors including logistics and IT, as well as industrials. He is a director of ECOM Express Private Limited, Embassy Industrial Parks Private Limited, Continental Warehousing Corporation (Nhava Seva) Limited and AVTEC India Limited.

Prior to joining Warburg Pincus, Mr. Sawhney was an Engagement Manager with McKinsey & Company, where he spent five years serving clients in the services and industrial sectors across India, S.E. Asia and Australia.  Mr. Sawhney holds a B.A. degree in mathematics from St. Stephens College (Delhi University) and an M.B.A. from IIM Ahmedabad.

Virat Singh Khutal, Co-Founder & CEO, Twist Mobile

Virat is Co-Founder and CEO of Twist Mobile. He has worked as game developer and game designer in Gameloft before starting Twist Mobile. He has been active participating in Twistfuture for Short Mobile Movie production in India. Entrepreneurship and Mass reach has been always focus for him. Virat graduated as an Architect from IPS Academy, India and did MCM from Pune University.

Viren Shetty, Vice Chairman, Narayana Health

Viren Shetty is the Vice Chairman of Narayana Health, a globally recognized he althcare group dedicated towards making healthcare accessible to all. In his prior role, Viren was responsible for Hospital Operations, Investor Relations, Business Planning, Technology Transformation, and Business Expansion. He is currently leading a program to transform NH into a fully Integrated Healthcare Organization encompassing Hospitals, Health Insurance, Clinics, Daycare centres, and Digital health - both in India and overseas.

Viren Shetty, Executive Director, Narayana Hrudayalaya Pvt. Ltd

Viren Shetty is the Senior Vice President of Strategy and Planning at Narayana Hrudayalaya Group of Hospitals and also sits on the Board of Directors. He started his career in the hospital engineering division and executed 8 projects as part of NH’s expansion strategy. He is currently working on streamlining the operating procedures for various group hospitals in order to maintain Narayana Hrudayalaya’s goal of delivering the highest quality care at the most affordable price.

Viren has a Bachelor’s in Engineering from the RV College of Engineering and an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.

Virender is leading Payment system at MakeMyTrip - A leading OTA. MMT Payment systems are integrated with many Payment Gateways and Aggregator Systems in India & Abroad. He focuses on customer convenience, increasing conversions, reducing frauds.

He is also an active developer and architect with deep understanding of high transaction ecommerce sites. Besides payments, he also focuses on Mobile Apps and CMS at MMT.

Virender Pankaj, Chief Executive - Wholesale Finance & Group Head - Sell Down, L&T Financial Services

Virender Pankaj manages an asset book of more than Rs 42,000 crores in areas of Infrastructure Finance, Structured Finance and Supply Chain Finance. He has been instrumental in building and growing the wholesale business significantly over the last decade. Under his leadership, the debt capital market business has grown multifold. LTFS is the market leader in its focussed areas of infrastructure finance; Renewables, Operating roads and Transmission.

Pankaj has over 26 years of experience in project finance, project appraisal, working capital, corporate finance. He has extensive experience in lending to sectors such as power (thermal, wind, hydro and solar), roads, social infrastructure (healthcare, education and hospitality), and industrial finance. Previously, Pankaj was with State Bank of India and over the span of his tenure had exposure to various aspects of project, corporate finance and development banking.

Pankaj holds a degree in textile technology, MBA (Finance) and is a Certified Associate of Indian Institute of Bankers (CAIIB). He has conceptualised and co-founded a grass root NGO, ‘Niramaya’, for blindness prevention and vision restoration in rural areas. He has also launched ‘Netra Daan Chetna Abhiyan’ in 2005 which has resulted in about 1000 eye donations and more than 350 free corneal transplants restoring vision for corneal blind.

Virendra Acharya, Head - Finance & Investments, VIMSON - Shivanand Salgaocar Group

Virendra completed his BE Computers from Goa Engineering College in 1993 followed by Post Graduation in Management from GIM in 1995.

Virendra is a BE Computers, with PGDM with a wide experience in the world of Finance and Investing. He has worked across a mix of Indian and Foreign banks such as GTB, ICICI Bank, one of India’s largest private banks  and Credit Agricole CIB, a leading French Corporate and Investment Bank. In 2018, he joined the Goa based  VIMSON Shivanand Salgaocar group to Head their Treasury and expand the Family Office. This role involves handling Corporate Finance, Forex Management, Trade Finance, as well managing the Family Office Investment portfolio (public and private markets incl. startups) for the group.

Virendra has 30 years’ experience across Financial Services, Corporate Banking, Trade Finance, Credit Risk, Forex Management, Investment Banking and Portfolio management. He is well versed with investing in the listed/unlisted space in equity as well as debt as well as Alternates.
